Bulgaria became the part of the European Union in January 2007.The weak economy of the country suffered a lot because of the global financial crises. From 2004 to 2008 the country earned some noteworthy amounts of foreign direct investments. The economy of the country is based on the standards of free market. It has a huge private sector contributing for the growth of economy.
