Kansas Webcams

Kansas state is situated in the Midwestern region of the United States. Its name is taken from the Kansas River that flows right through the state. The name Kansas came from a Native American tribe named Kansa that is believed to be meaning "People of the wind" which is not the correct or proper meaning in point of view of many. The residents of the state are known as Kansans. It has been ruled by numerous Native American tribes for a long time in the past. The best employment and income is offered by agriculture and farming. Kansas has fertile farmlands producing high yields of crops like sunflowers, wheat and sorghum. Kansas is surrounded by Nebraska, Oklahoma, Missouri and Colorado. It has over a hundred counties and contains more than up to six hundred cities in total. It has a population of nearly 3 million. Diversity is something that the state has inherited form the past.
