JavaScript WebCam Template
Follow these easy instructions and you'll have your WebCam up and running in less than 5 minutes!
- Click here to select the template HTML code below.
- On your keyboard, press Ctrl-C to copy the selected text.
- Open up a text editor, such as MS Notepad. Create a new file.
- On your keyboard, press Ctrl-V to paste the copied code into the new file.
- Customize it.
- Save (or upload) the file onto your server.
- You're done!
Things to modify:

In the HEAD section:
- Keywords for search engines to find your site.
Eg. webcams, cameras, live, images, webcam32 - Description for your site.
Eg. This is my personal WebCam page. Come and see me live! - Title of your WebCam site.
Eg. John Doe's WebCam PageIn the SCRIPT section:
- URLTOWEBCAMIMAGE: full URL or WebCam Image filename to the image the WebCam software grabs and stores in your server.
Eg. http://myserver.com/myaccount/image.jpg - Change var x = RELOADSECONDS to match the image refresh rate you wish.
Eg.: var x = 30In the BODY section:
- MyWebCamPage title and slogan text lines.
- URLTOWEBCAMIMAGE: full URL or WebCam Image filename to the image the WebCam software grabs and stores in your server.
Eg. http://myserver.com/myaccount/image.jpg
That's all! The rest of attributes can go into the FONT and BODY tags. Refer to an HTML guide to change font size, type and default colors, adding images, etc.
Once you have started your own WebCam after viewing some samples, it's time to PROMOTE it, make it available to people so other users may be able to find it and return to it once they've bookmarked your site. Follow our tips in our new section "Promote It!" or use any other template.
